Collaboration with Belarusian colleagues
In September 2013 corresponding member of National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine, professor L.F. Sukhodub with coworkers of laboratory "Bionanocomposite" visited the Institute of General and Inorganic Chemistry, Academy of Sciences of Belarus, where in cooperation with Belarusian scientists (headed by A.J. Kulak) conducted a research project number F54.4/012 "Getting apatite-polymer nanocomposite materials and coatings under the action of ultrasound and ultraviolet." The result of collaboration was the optimization technology of functional nanostructured biomaterials and biocompatible coatings for practical medicine: the synthesis of cements based on hydroxyapatite powder with added polymer (chitosan, alginate Na, polyvinyl alcohol) and synthesized three-layer composite film "polymer / CaPĀ». Currently, the properties and characteristics of obtained materials are studied.
