Main activity:<\/span> <\/strong>Synthesis, research, introduction into clinical practice of the latest hybrid nanostructured apatite biopolymer materials and coatings for implants<\/p>\n

Head: <\/span><\/strong>Corresponding Member of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine, Doctor of Physical and Mathematical Sciences, Professor LF SUKHODUB<\/p>\n

Sukhodub Leonid Fedorovich, Head of the Biophysics, Biochemistry, Pharmacology and Biomolecular Engineering Department, a well-known biophysicist-experimenter who has been working in the field of molecular physics and biomolecular engineering for 40 years.<\/p>\n

As of 2021, he has 145 papers in journals indexed by Scopus and\/or WoS databases, the number of citations is 1,500, and the h-index is 19.<\/p>\n

During the period of activity (8 years) the laboratory staff published 47 scientific articles on the subject of this project, 80% of publications indexed by Scopus and WOS, 14 of them in publications belonging to quartiles Q1 and Q2. Published 3 monographs and a textbook “Biopolymers and coatings”. Received 7 patents of Ukraine, the owner of which is SSU.<\/p>\n
